Who am I?
I’m a mom first. It’s the job title I love the most. (Although I admit that sometimes I wish the title wasn’t thrown around so often in our house!) I have two daughters, who happen to be twins and both are on the Autism spectrum.
Together we live with Dad, Matt, who works as a human rights expert. We also have a dog, Maisie, and two cats, Pinot & Noir.
I am a marketing and business expert. I help entrepreneurs – many of them moms – create and run a business around their lifestyle. After all, that’s usually why we have gone into business in the first place: to work on our own terms, right?
I’m an author. I’ve had three published books; two have been Amazon bestsellers. One is on parenting.
I’m not an expert on parenting, mind you. (I mean, who is?) However, I’ve appeared in Parents, Parenting, Better Homes and Gardens, Newsweek, NPR, PBS, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and other media outlets sharing parenting stories, trials and tribulations.
Although I have a ‘business’ blog, I realized I had more to say. It’s the kind of things that didn’t seem to fit my other blog, but really needed to be heard, so Mommy-Inc. was born.
I’ll be sharing my opinions – a lot! So I invite you to do the same.
